蔡英文缺席 「二○一六總統大選青年對談」論壇，蔡英文昨天在屏東回應，早排好整天競選行程，與主辦單位溝通，對方也同意由副手陳建仁參加，並沒有缺席問題。
民進黨總統參選人蔡英文昨天到屏東出席競選總部成立大會，對媒體詢問「缺席青年論壇」，蔡英文表示，她的競選行程，黨部早已排定，因行程滿檔，無法取消，只好與論壇主辦單位溝通，並與青年解釋與說明，對方欣然同意由陳建仁代表她出席，所以沒有缺席的問題。
蔡英文表示，過去的幾年，她在許多不同校園和場合，與青年及學生有很多的互動，這次她雖未親自出席「青年論壇」，「但不能夠以此解釋，我不重視青年」。
